Stagecoach Brexit Planning

I thought it would be useful to update you all on our plans should we leave the EU on the 31st October without a deal.

For some time we've been working closely with the local authority and other agencies on contingency measures in the event that the UK leaves the EU without a deal. Our priority will be to maintain as far as possible the operation of key services for school movements and core commuter routes.

In Kent we have a lot of experience of dealing with disruption arising from delays and blockages at Euro-tunnel and Dover ferry port. When this has occurred we've worked around traffic management systems to keep our services and our customers moving.

In the event of increased traffic congestion we will do everything we can to keep our communities mobile, including arrangements that enable us to react quickly to changing circumstances. We'll be providing information to our customers as the situation evolves. We ask everyone intending to travel on our services to follow our Twitter feed @StagecoachSE for up to the minute information and to follow the link to our Brexit Bus information update on our website, which can be found here.
