    Ongoing enrichment research projects which enable students to explore topics beyond the A-level curriculum, often with input from university guest speakers and DGGS alumni. Current options include:

    ·  Friday guest speaker programme (featuring talks by university academics, DGGS alumni and leading professionals from a wide range of careers)

     

    DGGS Aspire Emerging Talent Programmes

    Structured programmes aimed at supporting students who aspire to make applications for competitive career pathways and universities.

    · DGGS Emerging Medics Programme (includes placements at Buckland Hospital and Folkestone Royal Victoria, guest speakers, UCAT and BMAT entrance test workshops and mock interviews with DGGS alumni working in the medical profession)

    · DGGS Emerging Lawyer Programme (includes trip to Canterbury Crown Court, mock trial competition and LNAT preparation workshop)

    · DGGS Emerging Engineer Programme (includes work experience placement and workshops)

    · DGGS Emerging Teacher Programme (includes work placements at Charlton Primary School and with younger year groups at DGGS in addition to pedagogical workshops with expert teacher-trainers)

    · DGGS Oxbridge Support Programme (includes workshops with Oxbridge admissions tutors, one-to-one supervisions with subject mentors, entrance test workshops, mock interview practice with DGGS alumni and expert teachers from the King’s School in Canterbury)

    · DGGS Apprenticeship Programme (includes guest speakers, application workshops and mock interview practice)
