Welcome to Dover Grammar School for Girls. 

I am extremely privileged to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school. Dover Grammar School for Girls has a long tradition of academic excellence, but we are equally proud of being a community shaped by kindness, compassion, and respect. Our school is a place where every individual is valued, where diversity and inclusion are actively embraced, and where students develop not only their talents but also the strength of character that will guide them through an ever-changing world.

At DGGS, education extends far beyond academic outcomes. We nurture courage, resilience, honesty, and integrity, helping students to grow into thoughtful young people with a strong moral purpose. Curiosity and open, respectful debate are encouraged every day, supporting students in becoming confident learners who think independently and ethically.

Our students thrive because they are supported by a dedicated, highly skilled staff body who know them well and care deeply about helping them succeed. The positive relationships between students and staff reflect the maturity of our learners and the role model behaviour they demonstrate to younger pupils. I am immensely proud of their attitudes, their compassion, and their commitment to learning.
