At Dover Grammar School for Girls, we are ambitious for every student. We believe outstanding Sixth Form education should be about far more than examination success alone. The Optima Programme: Beyond Academic Excellence
A defining feature of Sixth Form at DGGS is our unique Optima Programme, which ensures every student develops the experiences, skills and attributes universities and employers value most. Through OptimaCORE and OptimaPLUS, students engage in opportunities that extend far beyond their academic studies, including leadership, volunteering, work experience, enrichment, personal development and essential life skills. Activities include first aid, finance, self-defence, work experience, mentoring, leadership roles, community service and participation in a wide range of extracurricular opportunities.
