A huge well done to Kallie Lawrence in 8W who entered this year's  KM Young Cook's competition and made it through to the final, held at Broadstairs College on November 29th. 

Kallie prepared and presented a delicious Salmon and Samphire tartlet with salad and a Lemon posset with rosemary biscuits - all in 120 minutes in this Masterchef style event judged by a panel of industry experts .  The standard increases each year and the overall secondary category champion was a year 10 pupil from Invictor Grammar School.  But as a runner up, it was an excellent effort - you did DGGS proud Kallie and I look forward to seeing what you come up with for next year!
